Our Story

Transcend started from the frustration of living with Type 1 diabetes and knowing, deep down, that it shouldn’t have to feel this hard. I spent years navigating spiraling blood sugar levels, waking up in ambulances, and relying on emergency glucose that did its job but was difficult to stomach and added stress to an already overwhelming moment. Over time, it became clear that managing lows didn’t have to feel this way.

I wanted something I could trust. Something fast, precise, and easy to use, even in the midst of brain fog and fatigue. I wanted it to taste good, fit into real life, and feel like it was designed by someone who actually gets it. Transcend was built from that need. What began as a personal problem turned into years of research, testing, and refinement, all with one goal: to create better tools for people living with diabetes, like myself.

Those early years of turmoil from my diagnosis still matter to me, but now, they’re reminders of progress. Of preparation. Of how much better things can feel when you’re supported by products designed with care and intention.

Today, Transcend supports an entire community, from people living with diabetes and their caregivers to the first responders who support us when it matters most. This journey started with my own experience, but it continues because of the community that uses and trusts Transcend every day. I’m proud of what we’ve built—and even more excited about where it’s headed.

We get it

Transcend was designed by someone living with Type 1 diabetes and shaped by thousands of real-life moments where clarity, speed, and precision matter most. Our glucose products deliver exactly what your body needs, when it needs it—whether that’s 15g for sudden lows or 8g for lighter corrections and added control. No measuring. No math. Just consistency you can rely on. Hydration was developed with the same philosophy. Supporting blood flow, energy, and mental clarity—without added sugar or unnecessary ingredients—so it works with your body, not against it. That level of precision is why Transcend is trusted not just by people living with diabetes, but also by first responders and healthcare professionals nationwide. When things get intense, simplicity matters. Reliability matters. Design matters.

Looking ahead

Living with diabetes will always involve highs and lows, but it shouldn’t mean settling for tools that feel outdated, uncomfortable, or stressful to use. Transcend is focused on making daily management feel more intuitive and supportive. That means continuing to refine what exists, exploring what’s next, and listening closely to the community we serve. We believe preparation creates confidence. That the right tools can take the fear out unpredictability. And that living well with diabetes isn’t about perfection, it’s about feeling supported enough to keep moving forward. This is an ongoing journey, and we’re proud to build it alongside a community that values clarity, control, and living life fully—on their own terms.
